Kellie Rae Adams Exhibition at Brown University

Susie and I along with friends Andrea and her mother Barbara dropped by the David Winton Bell Gallery, part of the Cohen Gallery, at Granoff Center for the Creative Arts of Brown University, for the opening reception of Kelli Rae Adam's "Breaking Even."

We first met Kelli when she would occasionally drop by Susie's shop at Hope Artiste Village during the Winter Farmers Market for a weekly fix of fresh French pastries. Having spent time in her mother's bakery in Virginia, Kelli also took a class from the French Tarte as well.

Anyway, the heavy rain didn't deter the four of us from spending an enjoyable half hour or so wandering around soaking up Kelli's work, especially the jars of canned, fresh food. You really have to see this to appreciate the full impact of the colors. Amazing!

The exhibition will be open Monday-Friday, 11:00am-400:pm, June 10 - July 19, 2013.
