Roadtrip to Westport and supper in Douglas with Dick, Dorothy, Carl and Uncle Frank

Early June brought us fine weather her in Providence and we decided to make the most of it. Since Susie had a special order to deliver down in Westport, MA, we opted to make a day trip out it, spending quality time cruising the back roads of southeastern Massachusetts.

After dropping the pastries off, we stopped at Ten cousins for lunch -- delicious pizza in a tidy space filled with wonderful smells.

Later that evening we ended up in Douglas, MA for dinner at Dick and Dorothy's house. Brother-in-law Car was down from Maine and Uncle Frank was there -- sadly Kathy was still feeling under the weather so she was not in attendance. It was a fine way to end a gorgeous day, with a scrumptious meal of grilled chicken, potato salad and fresh greens.
